Sandy A. Koza, P.E., PTOE, Project Manager, joined McMahon Associates in July of 2000. Her experience as an engineer includes preparation of transportation engineering impact studies for office, residential, school, retail and mixed-use development sites. As part of this process, she coordinates data collection efforts; performs trip generation, distribution, and assignment of new and pass-by trips; performs capacity/level-of-service analysis, signal warrant studies, queuing analysis, and auxiliary turn lane warrants; and attends meetings with State reviewing agencies, as well as municipal staff and Planning Commissions, Zoning Boards, and/or Boards of Supervisors/Commissioners. She also prepares conceptual design plans, truck turning templates, and preliminary cost estimates for roadway and intersection improvements. She serves as the traffic engineer representative for two townships and conducts site impact fee assessments, traffic impact study reviews, and site plan reviews for transportation related elements. Ms. Koza utilizes HCS 2010, SYNCHRO, SimTraffic, AutoCAD, and AutoTurn software programs to aid in her analysis/design capabilities.
