McMahon directed this Multi-Disciplinary Planning and Design Effort responsible for:
• Preliminary engineering
• Environmental clearance (CEE document)
• Final Design
• Construction services
McMahon worked with Newtown Township, along with the Sycamore Street Committee (consisting of home and business owners) to develop recommendations for infrastructure and aesthetic enhancements to support the commercial viability of the corridor and preserve the historic district.
Project engineering was funded by Newtown Township and $4.6 Million for construction was provided by PennDOT.
Construction was completed in 2005.
