McMahon evaluated the potential traffic impacts for the proposed expansion of the Iron Forge Educational Center along with modifications to the site access and parking areas, which is located along Forge Road in South Middleton Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. The existing building will be modified, and parking areas will also be modified. Additional students are anticipated to increase the student population when 3rd grade students are moved to this building. Currently, the school is served by three unsignalized access driveways along Forge Road as well as a connection via Academy Street to the high school/middle school complex and a connection to High Street. McMahon completed the data collection, capacity and queue analyses, and traffic impact study report for the project for submission to the Township and PennDOT.
