Township Manager Aaron Bibro, and traffic engineer Anton Kuhner described the latest version of the proposed road realignment project during the township commissioners’ Feb. 8 meeting. The project would straighten the intersection where the northern and southern portions of Orvilla are currently offset, requiring a complicated series of turn arrows as drivers cross Cowpath. The township first began looking at needed traffic improvements in 2005, engineering firm McMahon Associates developed an initial concept in 2008, and the project was added to PennDOT’s “Decade of Investment” plan when a state transportation funding law was passed in 2013. McMahon Associates, Inc., a transportation engineering and planning firm, today announced two key promotions within the firm’s Mid-Atlantic region. Christopher J. Williams, P.E. has been promoted from General Manager of the Exton office to the role of Associate Regional Manager, largely responsible for growth and oversight of Mid-Atlantic Services. Matthew M. Kozsuch, P.E. was elevated to be the General Manager of the Exton office, in addition to continuing to serve as the Regional Service Leader for ITS in the region.

He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, both regionally and nationally, to expand McMahon’s rail and transit services and clients.
